On Sunday, October 26, 2008, Gessica & Amanda participated in the Marine Corps Marathon, along with their moms by their sides, Gina and Meri. The four ladies finished the 26.2 mile marathon and we are very proud of them. The two families have a close connection to the Marine Corps as both of their fathers had succesful careers in the Marine Corps. In addition to finishing the race, these two teams showed their ongoing support for our brave men and women serving our country. They chose to sport the Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation logo on their shirts and received sponsorships totaling $1056.00, which they graciously donated to the foundation.
