The Rappahannock glistened with a layer of ice when we arrived for set up at 7am. By 9 am small glaciers floated down the river, a concern for our plungers. The water temperature was 31 degrees, the Fredericksburg Rescue Squad had to break the ice in order to postion the boat and clear the ramp for our plungers. 92 people plunged in support of our Wounded EOD Warriors and their families. Det Dalhgren brought their response truck, Fredericksburg Parks and Recreation, Fredericksburg Rescue Squad, Liberty Tax Service and TJ's Catering were on board making this a very succesful event. Of course, a huge thank you to all that participated, donated, volunteered and rooted everyone on! We are hoping for a larger turn out next year, it can only get better from here. God Bless our Troops! Thank you for your support!
